Basic Care Provider

The Basic Care Provider program brings basic health services to hard to reach communities by training CHFs in basic care and diagnostics. In partnership with Stanford Emergency Medical Services Department, the 110 trained to date in UP and Bihar, reaching 137,500 individuals. The program expands Community Health Entrepreneur’s skills to be the first responders in health care, as well as triage, identify and refer serious health issues. They are supported by a decision support app that guides them through the diagnosis and helps the BCP connect patients to Healing Fields doctors and refer them to the nearest hospitals.
